Please be advised crew from Zimco Property Services will be onsite Thursday, October 13th – Friday, October 14th to complete brushing & spraying of moss on select roofs with moss/algae build up. The crew will be accessing roofs by ladder. Any moss that lands on the grounds will be collected by the end of each day. Working hours will be from 8:30am – 4:30pm on both days. Please be cautious around crew and equipment when onsite.
Strata Insurance Renewal Notice (Effective Aug. 1, 2022)
Please be advised that the Strata Corporation’s Insurance will be renewed effective August 1, 2022. You can find the updated summary of coverages for the Strata’s insurance policy, including details on the deductible amounts, on the General Documents page or on Ascent Property Management’s Ascent Avenue portal.
It is recommended that all Owners advise their insurance brokers of the changes as soon as possible to ensure that you have the appropriate coverage on your home owner policy to cover the deductible, as well as any damage inside the unit from a water loss for amounts below the deductible.
Owners are also reminded that the Strata Corporation does not have a duty to repair the inside of a unit unless there is an insurance claim for the Strata Corporation. Owners will be responsible for repairs in their unit related to any smaller loss/water incident that occurs in the building when the total costs are below the deductible.
In the event of a water loss, the Strata Manager will advise the Owners affected if they will be required to engage their home Owner insurance or if the repairs will trigger a claim and be repaired under the Strata Corporation’s policy.
